We could have gone to Nasarapur an village on Route to Gunjavne.
Bus frequency to Nasarapur is good. You can catch the bus of Satara from Thane ( Vandana ) bus stand and get down at Nasrapur stop. Then you can share an auto till Gunjavne or enjoy the  walk till base climb if you have time.

There are four routes : -

1. Chor Darwaja through Gunjavne village (Rock Patch climbing - Medium)

2. Pali Darwaja - Through Vajeghar Gaon (Easy Route)

3. Gunjawane Darwaja - (Most difficult one) from Gunjavne village

4. Torna Darwaja - Used to visit to Torna or vice versa

Three Machi : -

1. Padmavati Machi - 

    There is an Mandir / Lake / Accomodation / Pali Darwaja / Chor Darwaja on this Machi.

    It gets very cold here please carry proper stuff for night trek. Water is good for portable 

    use only. Carry drinking water or purify lake water.

2. Sanjivani Machi - 

    From here one can head towards Torna it also has secret escape routes

3. Suvela Machi -

 I

         * When i stretched the hands, I felt that i am on the right path in achieving  something. 

    Gunjavne Darwaja is here. Longest arm of Rajgad and Gunjavne Darwaja.

Most Beautiful part of this trek is " CHULIVARCHI MAGGIE ".

 * We enjoyed  cooking the maggie on the fort. 

 Carry these things  for Night trek to Rajgad : -

*  A water bottle to carry at least 2 liters of water per head.

*   shawl or bed sheet or mat for night stay in temple.

*  Any torch which can guide you at night clearly.

*  Don't carry heavy cash at the time of trekking.
